What is a Certificate of Completion?
A Certificate of Completion from ExtraTax Training demonstrates that you have successfully completed one of our online ADIT training courses. It offers you similar peace of mind to a 'Guaranteed Pass Scheme', while putting you in control of your studies.
In the unlikely case that you gain a Certificate of Completion and do not go on to pass the exam, the Certificate guarantees you can return to the Core course in the next semester, free of charge.

To be awarded a Certificate of Completion, you must achieve at least 50 out of 75+ available points during the semester. Read on to find out how you earn points.
The main purpose of the Certificate is to guide you towards exam success. Our experience shows that students who participate in class, complete weekly assignments and sit mock exams perform better in the exams. The points system encourages you to focus on the most beneficial activities.

Important:
- A Certificate of Completion does not indicate that you have passed an ADIT exam and must not be used for this purpose.
- Certificates of Completion are not applicable for self-study or Core options.
- The decision to grant or refuse a Certificate of Completion remains fully at the discretion of ExtraTax Training.
- The offer to return to a course free of charge is only available once. Therefore, it does not apply to to anyone who has already returned to the course following an exam deferral or as a result of previously achieving a Certificate of Completion.
How do I earn a Certificate of Completion?
Earning a Certificate of Completion requires you to participate fully in the online ADIT course. You gain points by undertaking activities which lead you towards exam success.
You will be awarded a Certificate of Completion if you achieve at least 50 out of 75+ available points during the semester.

- 1 point for each weekly tuition class you attend live, keeping your camera on throughout the class.
- 3 points for each weekly assignment you submit, on time and having made a reasonable attempt at it.
- 2 points for each half-day revision class you attend live, using your camera & participating in the class discussions.
- 10 points for completing a mock exam, by the due date and having sat it in line with your tutor's instructions.
- 5 points for passing a mock exam.
